ORLANDO, Fla. -

The motorcycle, driven by Kyle Allen Morton, and a SUV,driven by a 73-year-old woman, crashed around 8:25 a.m. on Goldenrod Road near Charlin Parkway.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman made a left turn in front of Morton, causing him to hit the SUV and be thrown off his motorcycle.

Morton was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

Goldenrod Road was closed in both directions in the area while troopers conducted an investigation.

Troopers said the crash marks the third motorcyclist who's been killed in a crash in Central Florida over the last 48 hours, including a man who was run over in College Park on Monday night.
