Road reopens after truck spills cement on Beachline

Cement spills onto State Road 528 in Cocoa.

COCOA, Fla. -

The Beachline has reopened on Tuesday after a cement truck dumped its load on State Road 528 in Cocoa, causing four vehicles and a motorcycle to crash.

The crashes occurred around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes of S.R. 528 at the U.S. 1 overpass.

Cocoa police described the crashes as minor and said no injuries were reported.

Police and crews cleaned up the cement and the road remained closed for hours.

An investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
