My Dad was a Chief Petty officer in the United States Navy. He served 27 years and was stationed in Hawaii after the Pearl Harbor bombing. He was a wonderful dad, grandfather, uncle and friend to many!

Lorraine has been a Marine for the past 27 years. Did one tour in Iraq, and is at the tail end of her service. I once asked her if she had to do it all over again would she still join the Marine Corp, her response was, 'Without a doubt.'

Our son graduated from Lake Brantely in 2007 and after a couple of years at SCC he felt he needed to serve his country. In July 09 he joined the Army and was stationed in Korea. We are very proud of our son.
Greg is our small town hero!!!At 20 years old he is an older brother and a very much loved son!!!!! We love and miss him. Greg will be coming home for one month in July, he has been gone for a year.

Jason was killed serving his country in the War on Terrorism/Op Iraqi during a combat mission May 11, 2006. Jason was a 2004 graduate and letter athlete, St. Cloud High. He loved his family and outdoor activities. He is sadly missed.
Jason has been in the Military for 13 years. He was a former Marine and now a Captain in the Army. Has served a tour in Afganistan. He is a Signalman. Now stationed in Washington State. We are so proud of him.

He spent 42 years in US Army and Reserve, mandatory retirement at age 60. Attained rank of Command Sargent Major, and sadly passed away 10-9-2009 at age of narly 86. The day he parachuted on Los Banos Camp, was same day of famous Iwo Jima.

Our son, Matt has been out of country for more than a year. Thank goodness for computers and Skyp. We can type or talk almost daily. We are hoping he can come home Feb. 2011 for his brother's wedding.
Joshua Hearndon is currently on deployment in Rota Spain. He's due to come home December 2010.

Our son is a 2004 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School. He is a combat medic in the Army and is stationed at Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. He joined the Army in February 2008 and he's been serving in Iraq since November 2009.
Jeff is on his 2nd deployment. We miss him so much, but are so proud of him. Love him and can't wait to see him again!!
