Interstate 95 has been reopened at Malabar Road on Friday morning after it was closed due to smoky conditions, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Both northbound and southbound lanes were closed at the Malabar Road exit through mile marker 156 in Indian River County for at least two hours. It reopened at 8 a.m.

Smoke from a controlled burn reduced visibility to only 50 feet in some spots.
This is the second time in two days FHP closed down the same stretch of road due to smoky conditions.
On Thursday, FHP shut down I-95 later in the morning but on Friday it appears they are shutting down the road earlier as an extra precaution.
