Inspect your fence for rot, other damage

At least once a year it’s a good idea for those with fences in their yards to inspect the fence for signs of rotting, and any other damage.

Wood posts should be treated and set in concrete. Those that aren’t are more susceptible to rot.

Also check the bottoms of fences where vegetation may have rubbed against it and caused some wear and tear.

If you spot signs of rot or other damage it’s important to fix the problem quickly before the damage gets worse.
