BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -

Two motorcyclists die after a head-on collision with an SUV on Sunday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.

Leopoldo Boyzo, 23, and his passenger, 23-year-old Jose Hernandez, were riding on Babcock Street in Brevard County when they tried to pass the vehicle in front of them, according to FHP.

They struck an oncoming SUV and were ejected from their motorcycle, troopers said. Both died on scene and neither Boyzo nor Hernandez were wearing helmets.
