Trio used U-Haul in home burglary, Volusia deputies say

DELTONA, Fla. -

Two Deltona men and a woman were arrested for using a U-Haul truck to burglarize the home of a deceased owner, according to Volusia County deputies.

According to Volusia County Sheriff's Office, Byron Dellagatta, 19; William Joseph-Burwell, 21; and Devin Miller, 22 were each charged with burglary and grand theft for stealing trucks full of household furniture.

The three were in the process of loading their U-Haul truck in the driveway when a neighbor alerted officials. They were pulled over shortly after leaving the house, deputies say.

Deputies recovered all stolen property in the case. The suspects were booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach.
