7 injured in Lynx bus crash on OBT, troopers say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Seven Lynx bus passengers were injured in a crash Wednesday morning on Orange Blossom Trail, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.

The bus was hit by a Ford pickup truck after the driver of the truck failed to stop in the southbound lane of OBT near Holden Avenue, hitting the rear of the Lynx bus, troopers said.

Seven passengers were taken to area hospitals, six to Orlando Regional Medical Center and one to Arnold Palmer. All injuries were minor, according to the crash report.

The bus driver was not among those injured, according to the report.

Charges are pending against the driver of the pickup truck, troopers said.
