7 rescued, 3 dead after boat capsizes off Florida coast

Seven people have been rescued and three people are dead after a small boat capsized off the east coast of Florida, according to the Coast Guard.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -

Seven people have been rescued and three people are dead after a small boat capsized off the east coast of Florida, according to the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard launched its helicopter and diverted its cutter after the boat was found capsized 75 miles northeast of West Palm Beach on Thursday afternoon.

The Royal Netherlands Navy spotted the small capsized boat, according to Coast Guard officials.

The search continues for two other passengers, officials said.

No other information was immediately available.
