Altamonte Springs school locked down over suicide threat

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -

An Altamonte Springs middle school's lockdown has been lifted on Tuesday afternoon after a suicide threat was reported nearby, according to deputies.

Teague Middle School, at 1350 McNeil Road, was placed on lockdown after a man in a car on Melody Lane threatened to kill himself, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.

A little more than a hour later the lockdown was lifted. It's not clear if the man was injured.

No other details were immediately known.
