ORLANDO, Fla. -

Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando Predators announced on Tuesday that Orlando will host the Arena Bowl at the Amway Center on Saturday, Aug. 17, with rock band KISS performing that weekend.

This year's Arena Bowl, the Arena Football League's championship game, will be the 26th title game in the league's history.

"This event will be more than just another football game," Dyer said. "We built the award-winning Amway Center to host national and international events with a vast array of fan amenities, which makes Orlando the ideal place to host the Arena Bowl."

Predators owner Brett Bouchy said that he thinks 10,000 season ticket holders will attend, and that they will sell out all 20,000 seats at the Amway Center.

You can watch the game on Local 6 at 1 p.m.
