The attorney for George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, spoke out about Zimmerman's brother, Robert, who is taking out his frustrations about the case on social media.
"Robert is acting on behalf of his family, and he is not acting with the approval or the input of the defense team. We're naturally concerned about anyone associated with the case speaking publicly, because there is always a risk that their comments could complicate our defense efforts," O'Mara wrote in a post on GZLegalCase.com. "The Zimmerman family has been through a lot, and they have been frequently misrepresented in the media, so we do not begrudge Robert for wanting to speak out and set the record straight."
Robert Zimmerman appears to be tweeting at the Martin family's attorneys and in great detail about the case.
Meanwhile, O'Mara has also filed a deposition requiring Sanford police officers to speak out in Zimmerman's case.
According to the documents, 8 Sanford police officers will receive the deposition.
