Brevard Community College advances to NJCAA soccer finals

Palm Bay graduate Katlyn Bales sent the Brevard Community College women's soccer team to the NJCAA National Championship game, scoring as the clock hit 0 against Tyler Junior College.

Palm Bay graduate Katlyn Bales sent the Brevard Community College women's soccer team to the NJCAA National Championship game, scoring as the clock hit 0 against Tyler Junior College.

Local 6 news partner Florida Today reports it was Bales' second goal of the game and fourth of the season for the Titans, who are playing for their first national title at 6 p.m. Saturday at Melbourne Central Catholic.

Bales scored the first goal of the game as well. Courtney Hueston scored the other goal for the Titans. They will face the winner of the second game between Paradise valley and Iowa western.
