ORLANDO, Fla. -

A car has crashed into a restaurant just outside of downtown Orlando on Tuesday afternoon, according to Orlando Fire Rescue.

Officials said the car crashed into the Anh Hong restaurant on the corner of Colonial Drive and Mills Avenue at around 2:40 p.m.

Local 6 news helicopter Sky 6 flew over the crash as paramedics worked to help the driver of a black Toyota Corolla out of the car as debris was scattered around the restaurant.

The left lane was blocked on Colonial Drive as authorities investigated, backing up traffic.

It's not clear what caused the crash. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and no one inside the building was injured.
