A car launches into the air and slams into three parked vehicles at an Oviedo apartment complex.

OVIEDO, Fla. -

Three cars were crumpled at an Oviedo apartment complex after a suspected drunken driver lost control of his vehicle, which launched into the air and crashed into them.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. Thursday at the Barrington Place Apartments on Aloma Avenue at Dean Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 20-year-old driver was traveling down Dean Road when he lost control of his car.  The vehicle slammed into three other vehicles, causing major damage to them.

The car that went airborne sustained major front-end damage.

According to troopers, the driver said one of the cars he struck had cut him off.  Troopers said, however, that all the cars were parked at the time of the crash.

The driver and his passenger were wearing seat belts and no one was injured in the crash.

The driver failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
