An Orange County man threatens to blow up the Orange County courthouse after deputies say he was upset he wasn't able to get a marriage license.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

An Orange County man threatened to blow up the Orange County courthouse on Monday after deputies say he was upset he wasn't able to get a marriage license.

Allen Geozos, 52, has been charged with making a bomb threat after deputies say he told the court clerk "I'm going to come and blow this place up," when she told him she couldn't give him a marriage license without a state ID, according to the report.

Deputies said Geozos gave the court clerk his veterans ID card, his fiancee's driver's license and a copy of his driver's license, but was told he needed a hard copy. Geozos then yelled at the clerk, "when you live in the woods for so many years you tend to lose your wallet," according to the report.

The court clerk reported the threat to her supervisor, who contacted Orange County deputies. The clerk told deputies she felt scared and threatened by the comments considering the mass shooting at a Connecticut elementary school last week.

Geozos' fiancee told deputies that he made a comment under his breath, but that she didn't believe he meant what he said, according to the report.

"I just said 'what on earth did he do,' when they arrested him," Geozos' fiancee Jesse DeLoach told Local 6. "It was just something that came out of his mouth and I don't know why he said that but he did and now he's paying a dear price for it."

Geozos has been charged with threats to throw, project, place or discharge any destructive device, a felony charge. He was booked into the Orange County jail.

"He didn't mean it that's for sure, he's harmless as he can be," DeLoach said when asked if she thought her fiance would act on his threat. She said Geozos doesn't own a weapon and their own home security is their dog, named Wimpy.
