Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a liquor store on SR 100 Monday evening.

According to a department issued release, the clerk at Sharp's liquor store said two black males in their early 30's entered the store around 5:19 p.m. and attempted to purchase alcohol.

The clerk asked for identification, and the men went outside to apparently get their ID's from their car.

When they returned, they still did not have identification so the clerk opened the drawer to return their money.

At that point, one of the men reportedly took out a small silver handgun and demanded money and a bottle of Hennessy.

The two men were seen exiting the parking lot northwest toward State Road 100 in a silver Chrysler with a black convertible top.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (386) 313-4911.
