A teen suspected of carjacking a driver at gunpoint was found hiding in a Dumpster after a fiery crash in front of the Orange County Sheriff's Office, according to officials.

The crash happened late Wednesday night at the intersection of John Young Parkway and Colonial Drive.

Before the crash, the teen, whose name and age have not been released, approached the victim with a gun and stole the driver's car, police said.

An Orlando police officer found the car, but the teen wouldn't stop, officials said.

Officers deployed Stop Sticks to end the chase, said police, who added that the teen then lost control of the vehicle, crossed a median and crashed into a wall at the Majestic nightclub.

Police said the teen ran off but was later found hiding in a Dumpster.

The teen was taken to a hospital to be treated for a dog bite, police said.
