EUSTIS, Fla. -

Lake County deputies have arrested an 80-year-old man who they say stabbed his two roommates while driving in a car together after they told him to move out.

James Floyd has been charged with stabbing his two roommates, Barabara Sawicki, 49, and William Roberts, 51, while they were driving on County Road 44 in the Cassia area, deputies said.

Roberts was able to stop the car on the side of the road and get Floyd out, where he was subdued until deputies arrived, according to the report.

Sawicki was taken to DeLand hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Both victims suffered several lacerations during the incident; Roberts suffered a through and through stab wound on his forearm.

Floyd was arrested on scene and taken to the hospital for treatment of alleged chest pains, according to deputies.
