Attempted Kidnapping
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -

Osceola County sheriff's detectives need the public's help in identifying an attempted kidnapping suspect.

Deputies said on January 10 around 9:05 p.m., deputies responded to the Publix Supermarket located at 2338 East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee.

Deputies said upon arrival, they spoke with the victim who indicated he left his residence at 2419 Knightsbridge Boulevard in the Remington subdivision when he saw two unknown men waving him down at the intersection of Knightsbridge Boulevard and Owenshire Circle.

Deputies said the victim agreed to give the men a ride to Publix, but when he parked the car one of men sitting behind him pulled out a gun and pointed it at his head and demanded that he continue driving.

The victim began honking his horn and the suspects left the area. The victim was not injured during the incident, deputies said.

The victim described one of the suspects as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build and a birthmark or blemish on his left chin area. He was wearing black clothing, deputies said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
