PALM BAY, Fla. -

Police scoured the area for two suspects as they investigated a reported robbery of cash from a pizza delivery driver Wednesday night in Palm Bay, according to Local 6 News partner Florida Today.

The incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m.

Palm Bay Police Sgt. Boyd Williams said a driver from a Domino's Pizza told investigators that he delivered a pizza to a home on LaGorce Street in the southwest end on the city.

As he left the area, two men with a shotgun held him up and took away an undisclosed amount of cash he was carrying.

Williams said the people ordering the pizza paid with a credit card, received their delivery and apparently did not know about the robbery occurring after the delivery.

He said police are investigating whether the robber followed the driver as he made deliveries.

No detailed description of the robbers was available Wednesday night.
