The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has arrested an Orange County man on Tuesday who they say solicited a minor to engage in sexual activity.
Justin Slavinski, 32 was arrested last week on charges of soliciting minors on the Internet and transferring harmful material to minors.
"He's been chatting online and sending pornographic material to juvenile females over the last several years," said FDLE agent Susie Murphy.
FDLE agents say Slavinski had 27,000 instant messages on record trying to solicit minors for sex, along with pictures of child pornography. He also committed a lewd act on a web camera for a minor, according to agents.
"Slavinski has solicited to engage in sexual activity, tried to arrange a meeting and on one occasion displayed himself on a web cam performing a sexual act," Murphy said.
Agents said they believe there are additional victims, with at least two victims locally. Agents said they learned of the two victims because Slavinski had a warrant for his arrest in South Carolina for the same charges.
Slavinksi lives in Apopka and works at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares. Slavinksi's neighbors told Local 6 he has lived in the home with his wife for less than two years and didn't socialize with the neighbors.
"That's very sad, very sad. It's frightening, " said resident Donna Yberg. "You don't know how to react to something like that you're in shock, you don't know what to say, you don't know what to do."
On Friday, Aug. 23, he pleaded guilty to 12 counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, traveling to meet a minor to commit a sex act, two counts of computer solicitation of a minor and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and will be registered as a sex predator.
