I-4 Eastbound was shut down for several hours Friday night after a car slammed into a pick-up truck parked on the side of the road.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -

A pick-up truck parked on the side of I-4 near exit 108 in Volusia County burst into flames after a car slammed into it Friday night.  All Eastbound lanes were shut down for several hours as the scene was cleared.

A witness says the car was swerving in and out of lanes before hitting the truck.

A woman was driving and there was also a man and young girl in the car.  The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  The woman and girl were both uninjured.

FHP searched briefly for the driver of the pick-up truck, but they believe the truck was unoccupied.

There is no word this morning on what caused the accident or what charges the woman could face because of the crash.
