I-4 reopens after jackknifed semi closes interstate in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. -

I-4 west has reopened after a jackknifed semi caused the interstate to close in Orlando on Sunday, which lead to traffic backups until SR 50.

Authorities said the incident occurred after 8 p.m. Sunday in Orange County on I-4 west at Exit 82A / SR 408.

Due to the crash, all lanes were blocked as officials said traffic was backed up until SR 50.

Orlando police said the semi spun out at the Kaley exit. The fire department went out, but it is unknown at this time if anyone has been transported.

No other information is available at this time.
