Davis walked investigators through what happened step-by-step, from when he shot and killed the teens, to when he set fire to their bodies.
"I got out of the car and I shot the first one. The white kid, I shot him one time only," Davis said.
When asked if the teens were standing, Davis replied, "they were standing and I shot the black kid with the .22."
Davis was found guilty of murdering two teenagers -- 16-year-old Nicholas Presha and 18-year-old Jeremy Stewart -- along the Cady Way Trail on April 15. He entered a guilty plea on all charges at an emergency plea hearing in November and was sentenced to life in prison on 2 counts of first degree murder and 2 counts of kidnapping to life in prison with time served. He was also sentenced to life in prison on his attempted murder charges from a prior incident.
Hector Rodriguez is also charged with the death of the teens. He's set to stand trial next year.
