Necklace snatched from girl's neck at school bus stop

ORLANDO, Fla. -

A gold necklace was snatched from the neck of a 12-year-old girl while she was standing at her school bus stop in Orlando, according to police.

The robbery occurred around 8:45 a.m. Thursday on Rose of Tralee Way near Lake Orlando.

According to police, an unidentified teen approached the girl at her bus stop, stole the necklace and ran away. 

A detailed description of the assailant was not released.

Another culprit may have been involved in the crime, and police said a white Mitsubishi was also being sought.

No other details have been released.
