The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Internal Revenue Service offices in Orlando were evacuated after a suspicious package was reported, according to officials.

The FBI says a manila padded envelope was being screened at the office in Maitland on Trafalgar Court Tuesday morning when the employee became suspicious of the package and reported it.

Officials decided to evacuate the building based on what they saw, according to the FBI.

Once the explosive and fire teams declared the package safe, everything returned to business as usual.

The contents of the package are being examined and reviewed before what they are is released to the public.

No other information was immediately available.
