Orlando could be one of the most health conscious cities across the country. Or more hypochondriacs could live here than anywhere else.
It's a tough call, but today ZocDoc, an online resource for medical appointments and doctor locator service, announced that Orlando is the second most health conscious city in the U.S. (Austin, TX. ranked first).
The rankings are based on preventive appointments booked by residents in 2012 via ZocDoc.
Orlando women, it seems, are very diligent about their reproductive health. In a sub-category, ZocDoc ranked Orlando number one for OB/GYN appointments. The service also found that in 2012 women nationally booked 8 percent more appointments than men through its site.
According to ZocDoc, two million patients each month use its free service to find a nearby doctor or dentist and instantly book an appointment online.
