An Orlando police officer arrested on allegations of beating his girlfriend is granted bond.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

An Orlando police officer arrested on allegations of beating his girlfriend has been granted bond.

Danny Sidders, 43, was jailed Nov. 6, which marked the second time this year that he was arrested on charges of attacking the same woman.

Earlier this month, a judge granted Sidders bond, but that was revoked after investigators said he tried to hide a gun in his home.

A judge on Monday, however, granted Sidders a $1,000 bond.  As part of his release, Sidders will have to wear a GPS-monitoring device and cannot have contact with the woman.

Sidders is currently on paid leave from the Orlando Police Department.
