ORLANDO, Fla. -

A man begging for money at an Orlando gas station died after being pinned between a car and a pricing sign, police said.

While Orlando police continue to conduct interviews, they're already getting accounts of what happened from witnesses. The victim, who appeared homeless, approached the driver of a van at a 7-Eleven asking for money and put his arm in the van's window.

The driver of the van began rolling up the window and moving backward, according to witnesses. That caused the man to become pinned between the van and a sign displaying gas prices, police said. He died from his injuries on scene.

Police have not charged the driver.

Police kept the public away from the 7-Eleven because of the gruesome crime scene.
