Paul McCartney kicks off US tour at Amway Center

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announces that Paul McCartney will kick off the U.S. leg of his "Out There" tour at the Amway Center.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced on Monday that Paul McCartney will kick off the U.S. leg of his "Out There" tour at the Amway Center.

McCartney will perform on May 18, with tickets going on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.

The concert will be McCartney's first performance in Orlando since the 1993 "New World Tour."

Officials said McCartney will be performing songs spanning his entire career--as a solo artist, member of Wings and The Beatles.

The tour will also be making stops May 22 in Austin, Texas at the Frank Erwin Center, May 29 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the BOK Center, July 9 in Boston, Massachusetts at Fenway Park and July 12 in Washington DC at Nationals Ballpark.
