ORLANDO, Fla. -

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman.

According to authorities, Carmen Ana Vega, 80, has not been seen since 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Deputies say she was last seen at her Orlando home on Tennyson Drive in the area of Sand Lake Road and Voltaire Drive.

Vega left her home on foot wearing a pink sweater and blue pants.

"There is concern for her well-being. Carmen has dementia and diabetes and does not have her prescribed medication with her," according to an OCSO spokesperson.

Officials believe Vega may have become disoriented and unable to find her way home.
