SANFORD, Fla. -

George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, is reportedly suing NBC over the network's editing of his 911 call.

The New York Post reports Zimmerman's attorneys are going to file a complaint against NBC and its top executives on the March 27 episode of "Today."

NBC launched an internal investigation after producers edited the 911 call placed by Zimmerman just before he shot Martin. In the edited call, Zimmerman appeared to tell police that Martin was black, without being asked for a description by a dispatcher.

The Post reports at least 3 employees were let go after the incident. Read more at NYPost.com.
