Central Floridians will be casting their votes on longer-than-usual ballots this Election Day, potentially creating long delays at the voting booth.

Central Floridians are preparing to hit the polls on Friday for early voting to avoid long delays at the booths on Election Day.

On Saturday, early voting kicks off and runs through Nov. 3. If you're interested in finding out your early voting location, see a full list of the locations sorted by county here.

Rallies and get-out-the-vote events are planned this weekend across Florida to mark Saturday's start of the early voting period, ahead of the election on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Officials say more than 1.1 million Floridians have already cast ballots through mail-in absentee voting.
