Problems associated with an apparent software update for cable boxes disrupted service for some Bright House customers in Central Florida.
Many customers were without TV service for the entire morning and into the afternoon.
Bright House said in a statement Thursday afternoon that the issue has been resolved.
"Good news for those Bright House Networks customers who experienced problems with their cable boxes today. The boxes that were taking longer to reboot after the network performance upgrade was complete are now coming back online.
"We want customers to know we make enhancements to the network during the very early hours of the morning to avoid any negative customer impact and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.”
Bright House did not say how many customers were affected.
The issue did not impacted Internet service
