A suspicious package has been reported on the University of Central Florida main campus, according to UCF officials.

Police are investigating an unattended briefcase near the Reflecting Pond on the campus, UCF said. No roads have been closed and no evacuations have been enforced, according to officials.

"In an abundance of caution, a small outside area on the east side of the Reflecting Pond has been cordoned off. Please avoid the area," according to a UCF release.

The package was reported just after 5 p.m. The Orange County Sheriff's Office bomb squad responded to the incident, according to officials.

It's not impacting any campus operations as of Friday.
