Brevard County deputies checking on a home after a teacher fails to show up for work find two bodies in an apparent murder-suicide.

SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. -

A man and woman were found dead in a Brevard County condominium in an apparent murder-suicide.

The bodies of Michelle Marie Muenzenmeyer, 45, and Brian Joseph Trump, 43, were discovered Wednesday night in the South Patrick Condominiums at 55 Sea Park Boulevard in Satellite Beach.

Deputies were alerted to the incident when a person called them, concerned about the well-being of Muenzenmeyer, who didn't show up for work.  She taught at Webster University in Brevard County, and she also taught at a school in Tampa.

The incident shook up some neighbors.

"It's scary," said a condo resident, who added that she saw the couple but didn't know them personally. She said this kind of thing hasn't happened here before.

"It seems like this is kind of a peaceful place," she said.  "I could cry. It's just so sad. How does it get that bad?"

Brevard County deputies said the couple had a history of relationship problems.

No other details were immediately released.
