The wife of a pizza deliveryman who was gunned down by a man is demanding justice for her husband, while police continue on Thursday to search for the shooter.
Tim Brown, a Papa John's Pizza deliveryman for 14 years, was shot last Friday in the parking lot of the Maitland Shores apartment complex after making a delivery.
The gunman demanded that Brown "give him what he had", but before Brown could respond, the gunman fired a shot from a semi-automatic handgun and fled the scene, according
Police say the gunman was described as black man wearing a baseball cap who stood about 5-feet-9-inches tall with severe acne on both cheeks.
Brown's wife, who is battling cancer, says he is recovering at home but he's still traumatized.
"I have forgiven him (the gunman). I have. Tim and I forgave him last night," she said. "I want him to come to justice. I no longer want him dead but I do want him to spend a long time in jail. I don't want him to ever do this to anyone else."
Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the culprit's arrest.
