EUSTIS, Fla. -

A 67-year-old man was killed when a large sign blew onto the road and hit the windshield of his motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The man, whose name has not been released, died at Florida Hospital in DeLand.

Troopers say the man was killed Saturday when a commercial sign flew off from where it was posted and onto the road.

The sign hit the motorcycle's windshield, causing the driver to lose control, the FHP said.  He ended up crashing into a wall.
