A 31-year-old woman riding a bike to a job interview was struck by a beer truck and killed Tuesday in Daytona Beach, police said.

Kelley Davis was killed in the crash, which happened on U.S. 1 at Beville Road.

According to Daytona Beach police, the woman was riding eastbound on Beville when she apparently rode into the path of a Bud Light truck, which was headed north on U.S. 1.

The truck struck the bike, and Davis was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the truck was taken to Halifax Health to have blood drawn, but police said it did not appear that the truck driver was at fault.

No other details have been released.
