A man was shot in Kissimmee, police say.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -

A 22-year-old man was shot in Kissimmee early Wednesday, but it's not known if it's linked to a rash of other shootings in the area.

Daniel Marrero was shot in the incident, which happened just after midnight outside a home on Jessa Drive in the Lakeside subdivision near Boggy Creek Road.

Marrero was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was listed in stable condition.

Officials said two other adults and a child were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured.

"This was not a random shooting; one or more individuals inside the residence were targeted," Kissimmee police said in a news release.

The shooters were only described as two men wearing black clothing.

It marks the 12th shooting in Osceola County in the last week.

An investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
