MILWAUKEE, Wis. -

Without warning, a ball flew into a reporter's live shot, knocking the microphone out of her hands.

However, her poised recovery plays an equal role in the video's viral popularity.

Milwaukee Brewers reporter Sophia Minnaert was discussing the team's defensive play and setting up the broadcast's Twitter poll. Suddenly, a ball bounced on the concrete beneath her, skipped up and knocked the microphone out of her hands as she was speaking.

Minneart was deterred only for a moment. She quickly grabbed the mic off the ground and continued her report.

After the tossing back to the announcers, the broadcast crew immediately turned the conversation back to the errant ball.

"That was pro right there," said Bill Schroeder, color commentator on the broadcast.

"Do I get kudos for that defensive play?" asked Minneart.

Minneart told her broadcast team she was fine. She also tweeted about the incident, writing, "Talking #Brewers defense so figured I'd play a little defense of my own."
