Body found under I-4 overpass in Orlando, police say

Police investigate a body found in Lake Ivanhoe.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando police are investigating after a body was found under the Interstate 4 overpass near downtown Orlando  on Thursday morning.

Police said the body was found in Lake Ivanhoe along the shoreline under the I-4 overpass.

The deceased person has not been identified and the cause of death is unknown.

Police said they don't have any missing persons report matching the body, only identified as a black male.

He was found wearing clothing that had paint splatter/Spackle, according to police.

Part of Ivanhoe Road is shut down as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Orlando Police Department.
