Body of kidnapped Orlando man found in Daytona Beach

Authorities have found the body of the Orlando man who was believed to be kidnapped in Volusia County.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -

The body of the Orlando man believed to have been kidnapped was discovered in Volusia County.

The body of Jim Johnson Jr. was found in Daytona Beach on Wednesday afternoon, according to Orlando police.

Police said the Daytona Beach Police Department is investigating Johnson's death as a homicide.

No other details surrounding Johnson's death were immediately available.

Johnson's white Cadillac CTS was discovered Monday in an apartment complex parking lot near Hiawassee Road and Colonial Drive. 

Johnson had last been last seen alive on Friday morning at Goolies Barber and Beauty at 1109 South Orange Blossom Trail.
