Lockdown lifted at Volusia County school

ORANGE CITY, Fla. -

A lockdown has been lifted on Thursday morning at a Volusia County school after a report of a bomb threat called into the school.

Volusia County Schools officials say University High School in Orange City was on code red lockdown as authorities swept the school. Nothing was found and the lockdown was lifted after 11 a.m.

Volusia County deputies say they received a call from the school just before 10 a.m. that the school received a call with a bomb threat.

No other details were immediately available.
