ORLANDO, Fla. -

Authorities have reopened the westbound toll lanes on State Road 528 after a brush fire ignited near State Road 417.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers shut down the westbound lanes of the State Road 528 toll booth Thursday afternoon. E-Pass lanes remained open, along with the eastbound lanes of SR 528.

The fire was estimated at 3 acres and was difficult to access, so additional units were requested.

Smoke was spotted billowing in the air earlier in the day from the Florida Department of Transportation cameras.

No buildings were reported in danger. No other information was immediately available.
