Changes made to Fast Pass at Disney World

Changes are coming to Walt Disney World and its FastPass system.
Starting Wednesday, parkgoers headed to Animal Kingdom Park won't be able to grab a paper ticket FastPass.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the park is turning off the existing FastPass system and will start testing its new FastPass+ reservation system, which allows users to book FastPass times in advance through a Disney website, for up to three attractions per day.
The advanced reservation system will only work if the guest is staying at an onsite Disney-owned hotel, which will be linked to "MagicBands" -- the rubber bracelets with microchips used for theme park tickets, hotel room access and payment throughout the park.
Those not staying at an onsite hotel will have to book FastPass reservations at kiosks inside the park.
Disney says company executives had hoped to have MyMagic+ launched before the holidays this fall, but it's now aiming for sometime in 2014, according to the Sentinel.
