Orlando police are looking for a man they say stormed into the lobby of a hotel and robbed it at gunpoint.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

Orlando police said they are looking for a man who came into the lobby of a hotel downtown and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.

Around 11:26 p.m. Friday, police were called to the Comfort Suites at 2416 North Orange Ave. for a robbery.

Police said a man in a gray hoodie with his face covered came into the lobby, pointed his gun at the clerk and demanded money.

The man jumped over the counter, stole money and ran out of the hotel, police said.

Police said no one was hurt and they are looking into the possibility of this robbery being linked to other hotel robberies in the area.

Police are asking anyone with information about this armed robbery to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
