Cut your own 'Charlie Brown' Christmas tree in Deltona

If you're still searching for your perfect  "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree, you may find it in Deltona.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 14-15, the Lyonia Preserve is letting visitors cut their own free sand pine tree.

The sand pine trees tend to be sparse and sometimes lopsided, similar to the Charlie Brown tree.

Removing the trees helps maintain a habitat for Florida scrub jays.

You can also leave a donation to support the Deltona Regional Library.
