ORLANDO, Fla. -

A towering attraction for Orlando's tourist district received the green light from Orlando City Commissioners.

Developers want to build a multistory shopping center, called iSquare Mall and Hotel, on the southeast corner of International Drive and Kirkman Road.

The 360-foot attraction has been in the works for several months. It would include an ice skating rink, food court and rotating restaurant on the top level.

Developers hope to open it in mid-2017.
